On Monday 28th of June, Piha and Anawhata pod went to visit our local Marae, Hoani Waititi Marae in Glen Eden. This was a follow up to our unit based on the Marae, where we have been learning about a powhiri and Maori protocol. We had a wonderful day and we were treated to a real cultural experience while we were there.
